United In Christ Lutheran Church is the product of the joining of two Flint, Michigan LC-MS Churches; St. Andrew Lutheran Church and Mount Olive Lutheran Church. Under the guidance of then Pastor Gilbert Mabry, with the help of the Michigan District, United In Christ Lutheran Church was formed on the site of St. Andrew Lutheran Church. The church building and property for Mount Olive Lutheran Church was sold. Both Mount Olive Lutheran Church and St. Andrew Lutheran Church had strong ties to St. Paul Lutheran Church and School, Flint, Michigan. Mount Olive at one time supported two teachers at St. Paul Lutheran School and St. Andrew was a mission plant of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Those ties continue today as St. Paul is the only remaining Lutheran School in Flint. In 2007 Pastor Gilbert Mabry, after 20 years of ministry with Mount Olive Lutheran Church and 10 more at United In Christ Lutheran Church, retired from the public ministry. In April of 2007, Rev. David Daniel was called as the second pastor of United In Christ Lutheran Church. He was ordained into the Office of the Public Ministry and installed as Pastor on July 1, 2007. Pastor Daniel accepted a Call to become the 14th Pastor of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ottawa, Illinois. His final Sunday at United In Christ was Sunday, October 21st, 2012. The Rev. Steve Stahlhut is our current pastor.
